Where it runs: Cloud or On-premise
Cloud means a Saudi cloud provider in KSA, or your own cloud account. On-premise means your own servers, in your data centre.
- Which deployment options does the vendor offer, and are they the same product?
- Who runs each option day to day: the vendor, you, or both?
- For a cloud option, whose account is it, and who holds the administrator access?
- For your own cloud account, which region will you choose?
Where your data sits
Ask for the answer store by store, not once for the whole system.
| Store | Question |
|---|---|
| Main database | Where is it, and who administers it? |
| Backups | Where are they kept, and how are they restored? |
| Recordings | Where are call recordings and transcripts stored? |
| AI requests | What is sent to the model, and is it kept? |

Who this is for
Written for two kinds of reader.
Small and growing business
Quick start, plain outcomes

Enterprise and semi-government
Governed, in the Kingdom
IT, security, procurement and operations leaders in mid-market, enterprise and government-linked organisations, who will ask about residency before features.
